Keeping It Real!

18 Achievable New Year's Resolutions

The New Year has just begun and the resolutions from last year have risen again. The ones everyone starts but not everyone completes. This year we want to change it up and set resolutions that we will be able to achieve! We will be focusing on the smaller tasks, actions you already do.

Gentle reminder: You’re human, so give yourself grace. If you fall off the wagon, no worries! Pick up right where you left off. You got this!

  1. Choosing the healthier option. You do not have to cut something out of your diet completely, just choose the better option.
  2. Stretch in the mornings.
  3. Choose a book you know will inspire you (non-fiction) & read 5-10 pages a day.
  4. Spend time with God in the mornings. (Even if that means waking up 10 minutes earlier.)
  5. Set out your workout outfit the night before.
  6. Set your outfit for the next day the night before.
  7. Drink a cup of water before you drink your coffee in the mornings.
  8. Journal your thoughts at the end of the day.
  9. Remove your makeup as soon as you get home, so you don’t forget (or get lazy) later at night.
  10. Go on walks with a friend. You’ll hold each other accountable.
  11. Schedule intentional hangouts with your friends.
  12. Get connected to your local church & start serving.
  13. Pay attention to the ingredients in the food you’re buying.
  14. Find a mentor.
  15. Be more generous. We are blessed to be a blessing!
  16. Switch negative conversations or situations into positive ones.
  17. Let your “yes” be “yes” and your “no” be “no”.
  18. Do your daily declarations! There is power in the words that we speak over ourselves.

XOXO, One Sisterhood.
